AI-Driven longevity Advances in Latin America
Across Latin America, Debut-a biotechnology firm-has joined forces with leading Brazilian beauty company Natura to bring to market a longevity complex discovered by artificial intelligence. Their collaboration leverages Debut’s AI-backed molecular screening systems and Natura’s two decades of work with amazon-sourced bioactives.
Debut’s technology can now analyze up to 96 billion possible molecules in a short time, rapidly identifying new actives. Natura takes these scientific findings and blends them with Amazon botanicals to combat skin aging at the biological level. Both partners say that AI enables ingredient research that would have previously taken centuries to complete to now be done in days.
“We are entering a new era for beauty, where scientific innovation and natural resources combine to set a higher bar for clinical proof,” notes Joshua Britton, Debut’s founder and CEO.
Through this partnership, the teams will formulate a new complex by joining cutting-edge biotech actives with regional botanicals such as Ucuuba and Tukumã. Following clinical validation, these advanced products could be available to consumers as soon as next year.
Britton states, “Genomics-powered molecular design, together with Natura’s expertise in Amazon botanicals, opens fresh avenues for creative product development.”
This deal represents Debut’s introduction into the LATAM market. For Natura, it marks a step forward into a science-based “functional well-being” sector. together, they will continue to draw on Brazil’s cultural heritage and biodiversity to shape the next generation of cosmetic ingredients.
Manuel Rios Krauss, Natura’s chief R&D and innovation officer, concludes: “We bring together nature’s timeless knowledge, our communities’ traditions, and modern AI-driven science. This mix allows us to deliver true, evidence-backed benefits for our customers.”
