CLP Services – Create a Compliant Label

$46.37

This is an authoring service designed to assist you in the often complex task of creating a compliant label. You will be provided a PDF document containing the label, hazard statements, hazard pictograms, allergen information etc. You can then use this to incorporate the information into your existing label design or create a new one.

Please note that we do not design or print labels.

Placing a hazardous product on the EU market requires full compliance with the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. A correct label is not optional. It is a legal requirement.

Our CLP Label Creation Service ensures your product labels meet all regulatory requirements so you can sell safely and without risk of enforcement issues.

What is a CLP-compliant label?

A CLP-compliant label communicates the hazards of a product clearly and consistently across the European Union.

It must include:

  • Hazard pictograms

  • Signal word (Danger or Warning)

  • Hazard statements (H-phrases)

  • Precautionary statements (P-phrases)

  • Supplier information

  • Nominal quantity

  • UFI code (if applicable)

Any mistake in these elements can result in non-compliance, product recalls, or fines.

What we do for you

We create fully compliant CLP labels based on your formulation, Safety Data Sheet (SDS), or existing product data.

Our service includes:

  • Classification check according to CLP

  • Selection of correct hazard classes and categories

  • Creation of all required label elements (H & P statements)

  • Correct pictograms and signal word

  • UFI integration (if required)

  • Label layout guidance (size, placement, language)

  • Multi-language label preparation

You receive a ready-to-use label text that can be directly implemented into your packaging design.
