We testen de UVA-beschermingsfactor (UVA-PF)<\/strong> ter ondersteuning van nauwkeurige en conforme etikettering van zonverzorgingsproducten en cosmetische producten. Het testen van UVA-PF is een essenti\u00eble stap om te controleren of een product de huid kan beschermen tegen UVA-straling<\/strong>, waarvan bekend is dat het fotoveroudering<\/strong> en langdurige huidbeschadiging<\/strong> veroorzaakt en bijdraagt aan huidkanker<\/strong>. In tegenstelling tot UVB-stralen dringen UVA-stralen dieper door in de huid en zijn ze het hele jaar door aanwezig, ongeacht het weer of het seizoen. Het meten van UVA-bescherming is een noodzakelijk onderdeel van het onderbouwen van claims over breedspectrumbescherming<\/strong> op veel wereldwijde markten. <\/p>\n

    ISO 24443:2021<\/strong> – Een internationaal erkende in-vitromethode<\/strong> voor het bepalen van de UVA-bescherming in zonnebrandmiddelen. Deze test wordt door regelgevende instanties in de EU en andere wereldmarkten geaccepteerd als vereiste voor breedspectrumetikettering. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    JCIA PA-classificatietests<\/strong> – Het PA-systeem<\/strong>, dat veel wordt gebruikt in Japan en veel Aziatische landen, classificeert UVA-bescherming aan de hand van PPD-gegevens (Persistent Pigment Darkening). Wij bieden alle vier PA-niveaus: <\/p>\n

    Deze tests worden uitgevoerd volgens de richtlijnen van de Japan Cosmetic Industry Association (JCIA)<\/strong> en worden vaak gebruikt voor productregistratie en consumentenetikettering op Aziatische markten.<\/p>\n

    Waarom UVA-testen nodig zijn<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Consumenten en regelgevers verwachten steeds meer transparante en wetenschappelijk onderbouwde etikettering. Voor zonnebrandmiddelen die op de markt worden gebracht met claims over UVA-bescherming<\/strong> of breedspectrumlabels<\/strong>, zijn laboratoriumtests nodig om de doeltreffendheid aan te tonen. De UVA-PF resultaten worden ook gebruikt om marketingclaims te ondersteunen, aan nationale regelgeving te voldoen en de juiste PA-classificatie<\/strong> voor verpakkingen te selecteren. <\/p>\n
